Hatching – Watch the trailer for the new Finnish body horror movie

Hatching is directed by Hanna Bergholm and written by Ilja Rautsi.

12-year-old Tinja is desperate to please her mother, a woman obsessed with presenting the image of a perfect family. One night, Tinja finds a strange egg. What hatches is beyond belief.

The film stars Jani Volanen, Reino Nordin, Saija Lentonen, Siiri Solalinna and Sophia Heikkilä.

It will premiere at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival and then hit US cinemas on 29th April 2022.
