Licorice Pizza – Paul Thomas Anderson’s new film gets a trailer

LICORICE PIZZA is the story of Alana Kane and Gary Valentine growing up, running around and falling in love in the San Fernando Valley, 1973. Written and Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, the film tracks the treacherous navigation of first love.

This one is got a Boogie Nights feel to it mixed in with a splash of Richard Linklater’s Dazed and Confused.

Written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson (There Will Be Blood, Boogie Nights, Phantom Thread), the film stars Alana Haim, Cooper Hoffman, Sean Penn, Tom Waits, Bradley Cooper, and Benny Safdie.

The film opens in US cinemas on 26th November 2021.
