Jonathan Rhys Meyers goes up against a post-apocalyptic John Malkovich in The Survivalist trailer

A year and a half after the fall of civilization due to a viral outbreak, a former FBI agent is forced to protect a young woman immune to the disease from a dangerous gang leader hunting her.

Directed by Jon Keeyes, the film stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Ruby Modine, John Malkovich, Jenna Leigh Green, Obi Abili, Thaddeus Street, and Jon Orsini.

The Survivalist hits US cinemas on 1st October 2021.
