Halloween Kills gets a new trailer
David Gordon Green is working on two sequels to 2018’s Halloween – Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends. John Carpenter is back to do the soundtrack for the new films in Blumhouse and Universal’s horror franchise.
Anthony Michael Hall (The Breakfast Club, Weird Science, The Dead Zone) joins Jamie Lee Curtis in the sequel. He will be playing Tommy Doyle. This character who first appeared in the original “Halloween” movie as one of the kids Laurie Strode (Curtis) babysat the night Michael Myers reigned terror on the small town. Doyle returned in 1995’s Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers. Paul Rudd played Tommy in that film.
The new trailer has been released for Halloween Kills and the story carries straight on from the last film. It also seems to be one of those trailers that shows a huge amount of the story beats so beware of spoilers if you watch it.
Halloween Kills is out on 15th October 2021. Halloween Ends will then be released on Friday, October 14, 2022.
