Michael C. Hall is back in the teaser for the new Dexter limited series

Showtime has released this teaser for their new Dexter limited series. It’s a short one, but we get to see Michael C. Hall preparing to do what Dexter does best!

The 10-episode Dexter revival will be set 10 years after Dexter Morgan went missing in the eye of Hurricane Laura. It will continue to follow the character, who is now living under an assumed name in a world away from Miami. Joining the revival are Clancy Brown, Julia Jones, Michael Cyril Creighton, Alano Miller, Johnny Sequoyah, Jack Alcott, Jamie Chung and Oscar Wahlberg.

The original eight-season run of DEXTER premiered in the fall of 2006 and starred Hall as Dexter Morgan, a complicated and conflicted blood-spatter expert for the Miami police department who moonlights as a serial killer. The show became one of the most acclaimed series on television, earning multiple Emmy(R) and Golden Globe(R) nominations for best television drama series as well as a prestigious Peabody Award in 2008, and was twice named one of AFI’s top 10 television series.

The new series will be with us this autumn.
