A24 has made a new Role-Playing Game based on David Lowery’s The Green Knight

The Green Knight is the new film from David Lowery (A Ghost Story, The Old Man and The Gun). It is a fantasy film based on the Arthurian tale of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.

It describes how Sir Gawain, a knight of King Arthur’s Round Table, accepts a challenge from a mysterious “Green Knight” who dares any knight to strike him with his axe if he will take a return blow in a year and a day. Gawain accepts and beheads him with his blow, at which the Green Knight stands up, picks up his head and reminds Gawain of the appointed time.

While the film’s release has been put back, A24 has got a new tabletop RPG based on the film heading our way.
