Venom 2

The Venom sequel release date has been moved to 2021. It also has a full title – Venom: Let There Be Carnage.

Andy Serkis is directing Venom 2, and Tom Hardy will reprise his role as Eddie Brock in the film alongside Michelle Williams as Anne Weying. Woody Harrelson is playing Cletus Kasady, aka Carnage, and Naomie Harris (Moonlight) is also reportedly playing the villain Shriek.

The Saint

Chris Pine’s turn as Jack Ryan only lasted one film, but it looks like he is going to have another crack at a literary-based hero as Variety is reporting he will star as Simon Templar in the latest adaptation of The Saint, based on the 1920s book series written by Leslie Charteris.

The movie follows Simon Templar, better known as The Saint, a Robin Hood-esque criminal and thief for hire who goes on a globetrotting adventure.

Dexter Fletcher (“Rocketman”) will direct the film and Seth Grahame-Smith wrote the script.

One-Punch Man

Venom writers Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner are writing a One-Punch Man live-action movie adaptation for Sony Pictures, according to Variety.

One-Punch Man follows the story of Saitama, a superhero who can defeat any opponent with a single punch but seeks to find a worthy opponent after growing bored by a lack of challenges in his fight against evil. The worldwide hit manga series was created in 2009 by Japanese artist ONE.

The Mandalorian

The second season of The Mandalorian is due to hit Disney+ in October 2020. However, pre-production has already begun on a third season, according to Variety.

Sources close to the production have confirmed that creator Jon Favreau has been “writing season 3 for a while,” and that the art department, led by Lucasfilm vice president and executive creative director Doug Chiang, has been creating concepts for Season 3 “for the past few weeks.”
