Video Essay – Mulholland Drive: How David Lynch Manipulates You

I do love Mulholland Drive. A great film with many twists and turns that, like many David Lynch projects, does leave you with more questions than it answers. Both Naomi Watts and Laura Harring are fantastic in the film.

The Nerdwriter has put together this excellent video essay that looks at how Lynch manipulated the viewer. He focuses on the audition scene and you can hear what he has to say about it below.
