Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure 30th Anniversary Screening at The National Space Centre

On Friday 8 February 2019 it’s time to party on, dudes! The National Space Centre is hosting a 30th Anniversary Screening of Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure in the largest planetarium in the UK.

Sit back in the Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium as high school no-hopers, Bill and Ted, leap in and out of history, meeting such people as Napoleon, Socrates and Billy the Kid on the way.

Bill S Preston Esquire (Alex Winter) and Ted Theodore Logan (Keanu Reeves) are in danger of flunking History class. They’re rescued by Rufus (George Carlin), a resident of San Dimas 700 years in the future – a future in which their band Wyld Stallyns has brought about world peace, and the best water slides in the universe.

Be excellent to each other and book your tickets now. Tickets cost £6.

Malika Andress, Head of Marketing at the National Space Centre, explains why you should air guitar your way to the National Space Centre: “It’s an excellent chance to watch a cult classic in a unique setting, 30 years on from its original release. As long as that doesn’t make you feel too old. It’s certainly one of the guiltiest pleasures of the late 1980s and we can’t wait to welcome fans to either revisit their favourite or come and watch the movie for the first time.”

Times:

  • 18:30 Doors, bar and cafe open (please note, the building will be closed between 17:00 – 18:30)
  • 19:30 Screening begins
  • 21:00 Screening Ends
  • 22:00 Building closed
