Game of Thrones & Tourism Ireland have got great things heading our way

After 6 seasons of filming on location in Northern Ireland, the country and Game of Thrones have forged a bond as strong as the handshake of Gregor Clegane. Many have fought and died in this world, and on this stunning landscape.

To celebrate Season 6, Tourism Ireland are carving Game of Thrones into the lives, landscape and culture of Northern Ireland.

They’re kicking things off by transforming fallen Game of Thrones icons into a cultural trail worthy of Westeros, and launching a range of limited edition stamps. These will be followed by Valyrian Steal Kitchen Knives, and GoT Invading Landscapes. But more on those later in the season.
