Check out a couple of Batman v Superman fan made videos
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was rather disappointing. It featured characters called Batman and Superman, but they weren’t the ones I knew from the comics. Sure, there were a few cool bits here and there –Ben Affleck was great as was Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman – but Henry Cavill wasn’t given much to do with Superman apart from looking stern, which just isn’t Superman. I also felt that the filmmakers would rather have something they thought would be cool, rather than stick to what makes the characters great.
Zack Snyder’s explanation for Jimmy Olsen getting shot (he was the cameraman who was with Lois Lane at the beginning of the film) shows what I mean by that.
See what I mean? If you can’t think of how to use Jimmy (who always works so well in the comics) it is more fun to kill him, rather than put him on the sidelines for a film or two? Weird decision in a film full of them.
Anyhoo, back to the post at hand. Here are a couple of cool Batman related fan made videos.
The first. from YMMPodcast, gives us a more realistic take on events leading up to Batman and Superman’s first meeting after the events in Man of Steel. Plus it also features Jack Ryder, aka The Creeper. World’s Finest is the way they should have gone with the recent Batman v Superman film.
Set shortly after the events of the 2013 film ‘Man of Steel,’ The global community comes to grips with the destruction of Metropolis and a young Bruce Wayne returns from his training abroad to prepare for his first true challenge.
The stage will be set as the World’s Finest meet for the first time.
World’s Finest is a fan film that presents an alternate Batman vs Superman, both at the beginning of their careers.
The second is a re-edit by Anton Volkov, of the Batman Begins opening credits, making them similar in style to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
