The Remarkable Life of Ibelin – Watch the trailer for the new documentary about friendship in online games

Mats Steen, a Norwegian World of Warcraft gamer, died of a degenerative muscular disease at the age of 25. His parents mourned what they thought had been a lonely and isolated life, when they started receiving messages from online friends around the world.

The film is directed by Benjamin Ree (The Painter and the Thief).

The Remarkable Life of Ibelin hits Netflix on 25th October 2024.
