Star Trek III: The Search For Spock returns to cinemas and gets a new poster by Matt Ferguson

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Star Trek III: The Search for Spock this summer, exclusive poster art has been created by artist Matt Ferguson.

The new artwork pays homage to the classic design of the original poster with its look and feel.

Admiral Kirk and his bridge crew risk their careers stealing the decommissioned U.S.S. Enterprise to return to the restricted Genesis Planet to recover Spock’s body.

An artist and designer from Sheffield, UK, Matt Ferguson has designed original artwork for Star Trek Beyond, as well as iconic franchises Marvel and Jurassic Park. He has also curated exhibitions in the UK and USA, and is well known for his beautifully stylised creations for established film and TV properties.

Fans will be able to enjoy Star Trek III: The Search for Spock once again in UK cinemas from June 14, and on a new 4K UHD™ + Blu-ray™ SteelBook® releasing on May 27.
