Ralph Ineson is Galactus in Marvel’s The Fantastic Four

I think this is a fantastic piece of casting (no pun intended) as Variety has the news that Ralph Ineson (The Witch, The Green Knight, Chernobyl, The First Omen, Finchy in The Office) has been cast as Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds.

He has a great voice and is a brilliant actor. I love how Marvel have gone with him and hopefully this is a good sign for the film.

He joins Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards (aka Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm (aka the Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm (aka the Human Torch) and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm (aka the Thing). The film will also feature Oscar nominee John Malkovich and Emmy winner Paul Walter Hauser, both in undisclosed roles, as well as Emmy winner Julia Garner as Shalla-Bal, a version of the Silver Surfer.

Matt Shakman, who was nominated for two Emmys for directing “WandaVision,” will direct the new film. The script is by Eric Pearson, Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer. “WandaVision” alum Peter Cameron has also contributed writing to the project.
