Sharlto Copley, James Purefoy & Danny Woodburn join the cast of The Witcher Season 4
After the shocking, Continent-altering events that close out season three, the new season follows Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri who are faced with traversing the war-ravaged Continent and its many demons apart from each other. If they can embrace and lead the groups of misfits they find themselves in, they have a chance of surviving the baptism of fire — and finding one another again.
Sharlto Copley (District 9, Monkey Man), James Purefoy (The Following, Solomon Kane) and Danny Woodburn (Watchmen, Mirror Mirror) are confirmed to star in the latest season of the Witcher franchise.
- Sharlto Copley joins as the infamous bounty hunter, Leo Bonhart.
- James Purefoy joins as Emhyr’s court advisor and high-ranking spy, Skellen.
- Danny Woodburn joins as fan favourite dwarf from the books and games, Zoltan.
I must admit that, with Henry Cavill leaving the show I was not intending to watch the new season. However, they are putting together quite a supporting cast so I think I will give it at least a couple of episodes to see how things stack up. I’ve also started another play through of The Witcher 3. It is such an incredible game and it’s taken me right back into that world.
Copley, Purefoy and Woodburn join Liam Hemsworth, Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan, Joey Batey and Laurence Fishburne in the highly anticipated 4th Season of the globally renowned, award-winning show which will return to production this Spring.
