Our US correspondent and my After The Ending co-host, Mike Spring, has got a new comic book, The 8-Bit Slasher, currently on Kickstarter.

Mike’s previous comics, Uncaped and Red, White & Broke, have been excellent reads so I am looking forward to checking the new one out, but that means he needs your pledges.

Mike writes the comic and Dennis Tirona is the artist for the comic.

Eddie Mayhem is a pop culture icon; a movie slasher who also appears in the hit video game series 8-Bit Brawler. When kids at a college party mess around with a mysterious spell book, Eddie is pulled into existence and goes on a killing spree! Bringing elements of the video game realm into the real world, things quickly devolve into 8-Bit mayhem! It’s slasher film meets classic video games meets meta comedy!

The 8-Bit Slasher is ready to be published! The script is complete and the artwork is finished. Once the Kickstarter concludes, all that will be left is the colouring, lettering, and printing!

There are a whole heap of rewards for the various pledges including alternate covers by Jeff Bonesteel, Dennis Tirona and Ryan G. Browne.. Plus you can also pick up Mike’s other comic books.
