Saloum – Watch the trailer for the new Senegalese thriller

Saloum is a new Senegalese thriller directed by Congolese director Jean Luc Herbulot and produced by Pamela Diop.

2003, three mercenaries extracting a druglord out of Guinea-Bissau are forced to hide in the mystical region of Saloum, Senegal.

The film stars Yann Gael, Mentor Ba, Roger Sallah, Evelyne Ily Juhen, Bruno Henry, Babacar Oualy, Ndiaga Mbow, Cannabasse, Renaud Farah, Alvina Karamoko and Marielle Salmier made supportive roles.

Saloum premiered in the Midnight Madness section at the 2021 Toronto International Film Festival on 30 September 2021.

It hits Shudder on 8th September 2022.
