Dead Mail – Watch the new trailer for the horror film

Joe DeBoer and Kyle McConaghy’s acclaimed synth-laden retro-thriller details the sordid sequence of events that lands a blood-stained scrap of mail on the desk of a county post-office’s “dead letter” investigator, and its murderous repercussions.

An ominous, bloody help note finds its way to the desk of a seasoned dead letter investigator at a 1980’s midwestern post office. As he begins to piece together the letter’s origins, it leads him down a violent, unforeseen path to a kidnapped keyboard engineer and his eccentric business associate.

Co-directed and co-written by Joe DeBoer and Kyle McConaghy, the film stars Sterling Macer, Jr., John Fleck, Susan Priver, Micki Jackson, Tomas Boykin, and Nick Heyman.

Dead Mail hits Shudder on 18th April 2025.
