Spinal Tap II: The End Continues gets a teaser and a release date
Spinal Tap II: The End Continues reunites director Rob Reiner with Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, and Harry Shearer as they reprise their iconic roles as the legendary heavy metal band Spinal Tap in this long-awaited sequel. Featuring cameos from Elton John, Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks, and more.
The film also stars Paul Shaffer, Fran Drescher, Don Lake, John Michael Higgins, Nina Conti, Griffin Matthews, Kerry Godliman, and Chris Addison.
Bleecker Street has acquired the U.S. distribution rights to the film, which hits cinemas on 12th September.

The original 1984 cult classic This is Spinal Tap returns to the big screen for a special engagement on its 41st Anniversary in a newly restored edition.

This Is Spinal Tap was released to critical acclaim in 1984 and went on to become a cult classic. In 2002, it was deemed “culturally, historically, and aesthetically significant” by the Library of Congress, and was selected for preservation by the National Film Registry. The Return of Spinal Tap, was broadcast and released on video in 1992 to promote Break Like the Wind. It consisted mostly of footage from an actual Spinal Tap concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
