All Happy Families – The new dysfunctional family comedy starring Josh Radnor gets a UK release date
The Landrys gather for the weekend to fix up their family home in Chicago. Graham (Josh Radnor) really wishes his life was in a better place, especially since he’s reconnected with his college crush, Dana (Chandra Russell). Sue (Becky Ann Baker) is looking forward to the next chapter in her life when an incident at her retirement party forces her to question things, including her marriage to complacent Roy (John Ashton). Then, Will (Rob Huebel), the television star, blows into town. What starts out as a benign family get-together ends up spiraling out of control as some shocking news threatens to tear everything apart.
A deeply relatable portrait of family dysfunction, All Happy Families features a fantastic ensemble cast led by Josh Radnor (How I Met Your Mother, Fleishman is in Trouble, Hunters) and featuring Becky Ann Baker (Ted Lasso, Freaks and Geeks, A Simple Plan), Rob Huebel (Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, I Love You, Man) and the late, great John Ashton (Beverly Hills Cop franchise, Midnight Run, M*A*S*H).
From Executive Producer Michael Shannon, the film is directed by Haroula Rose (Once Upon A River). Rose co-wrote with Coburn Goss and both also served as producers alongside Liz Cardenas (A Ghost Story), Ian Keiser (Saint Frances) and Mary Muñez (Breaking Bounds).
All Happy Families is in cinemas 14th March from Bulldog Film Distribution.
