HAVOC – Check out Tom Hardy in images from the new action-thriller from Gareth Evans

Havoc follows a bruised detective who must fight his way through a criminal underworld to rescue a politician’s estranged son after a drug deal gone wrong. In the process, he begins to unravel a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that ensnares his entire city.

The film stars Tom Hardy, Jessie Mei Li, Justin Cornwell, Quelin Sepulveda, Luis Guzmán, Michelle Waterson, Sunny Pang, Jim Caesar, Xelia Mendes-Jones with Yeo Yann Yann, Timothy Olyphant, and Forest Whitaker.

HAVOC is directed by Gareth Evans (The Raid, Gangs of London), and produced by Evans, Ed Talfan, Aram Tertzakian, and Tom Hardy.

“When it comes to a film called HAVOC, with me and Tom Hardy, we deliver on the action front,” said Evans speaking to Empire Magazine. “That’s the primary focus. But with Tom, what you get as well is an intensely muscular central performance, and really well-developed character. There’s a lot going on under the hood.

“He’s basically on clean-up duty and he has to navigate this broken city in order to get to him first. That’s the propulsive mission he goes on, and because it’s me, it doesn’t go well for a long time.”
