Keir Gilchrist is Running on Empty in the trailer for the dark romantic comedy

Mortimer is an odd but clever young man living a lukewarm existence in California’s San Fernando Valley until he receives some life-changing news. Determined to make the most of every day, Mort sets out on a spirited quest to find meaning in his existence and discovers the girl of his dreams along the way.

The film is written and directed by Daniel André, it stars Keir Gilchrist, Lucy Hale, Francesca Eastwood, Rhys Coiro, Jay Pharoah, Dustin Milligan, Dylan Flashner, Lisa Yaro, Monica Potter, and Jim Gaffigan.

Running on Empty hits US cinemas on 9th August and the VOD from 27th August 2024.
