Watch the trailer for Childish Gambino’s Bando Stone & The New World

Donald Glover has released the trailer for his new film – Bando Stone & The New World. Glover he directed, starred, and scored the film as Childish Gambino.

The film follows Bando Stone, a famous musician who appears to be the last man on Earthbefore he meeting a woman (Jessica Allain) and her child. Together, they make their way through a dystopian, post-apocalyptic world filled with giant squids, menacing emu-like birds and laser lights that delete and redraw reality.

The new song “Lithonia,” which plays over the trailer, will come out 2nd July.

The film was written by Evi Wilder, produced by Glover’s creative studio, Gilga, in association with RCA Records.

Bando Stone & The New World and its soundtrack (which will be Childish Gambino’s final album) are due out later this year.
