Hellboy The Crooked Man gets a trailer
The first trailer for Hellboy: The Crooked Man has been released. Jack Kesy (12 Strong) stars as Hellboy. Brian Taylor (Crank) directed the film with a script penned by Hellboy comic book creator Mike Mignola and Chris Golden.
Stranded in 1950s rural Appalachia, Hellboy and a rookie BPRD agent discover a small community haunted by witches, led by a local devil with a troubling connection to Hellboy’s past: the Crooked Man.
They do seem to be going for a more serious tone with this film when compared to previous ones with more focus on the horror aspects.
I’ve always loved the Hellboy comics and enjoyed the Guillermo del Toro film adaptations. I wish this looked better. The character deserves better.
Millennium Media bought the rights to Hellboy in 2018. The Eisner Award-winning Hellboy: The Crooked Man comic debuted in July 2008 to correspond with the cinema release of Hellboy II: The Golden Army.
