Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey II hits cinemas this Friday
Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey earned more than $5,000,000 in cinemas worldwide, which means a sequel was inevitable. Winnie The Pooh returns even more brutal than before and is joined by Tigger and Owl to wreak mayhem in the Hundred-Acre Wood.
Five months following the murders at Hundred Acre Wood, Christopher Robin tries returning to his regular life working at the hospital while regularly attending therapy sessions to deal with his PTSD. Meanwhile, search teams have been sent out into the woods to hunt the purported monsters that Christopher claimed to have escaped, while much of the community aren’t buying his “monster” story and believe him to be the killer of the group of girls in the woods. During his therapy sessions, Christopher recalls a childhood incident involving a group of missing children and his twin brother, who were all kidnapped during Christopher’s 5th birthday party.
Seeking revenge on his former childhood friend, Winnie-the-Pooh is determined to find and kill Christopher along with the surviving adult members of Christopher’s 5th birthday party. Pooh, alongside his terrifying beast friends, Owl and Tigger, begin killing Christopher’s adult childhood friends one by one culminating at a rave party where Christopher lures the beasts back into the woods for a final confrontation to settle the old score once and for all.
Written and directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield, starring Scott Chambers as Christoper Robin, Tallulah Evans (THE FULL MONTY TV series), and BAFTA-nominated thespian Simon Callow (FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL), WINNIE-THE-POOH: BLOOD & HONEY II is, “a grizzly piece of meta horror that is sure to surprise audiences.”
Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 opens in select UK and Irish cinemas from 7th June and On Digital from 28th June. It then hits DVD and Blu-ray from 1st July.
