On the eve of the Second World War, two of the greatest minds on the twentieth century, C.S. LEWIS and SIGMUND FREUD converge for their own personal battle over the existence of God. FREUD’S LAST SESSION interweaves the lives of Freud and Lewis, past, present, and through fantasy, bursting from the confines of Freud’s study on a dynamic journey.

Directed by Matt Brown, the film is based on the stage play of the same name by Mark St. Germain, which is itself adapted from the book “The Question of God” by Armand Nicholi.

It stars Anthony Hopkins, Matthew Goode, Liv Lisa Fries, Jodi Balfour, Padraic Delaney, Stephen Campbell Moore, Rhys Mannion, George Andrew-Clarke, Orla Brady, Gary Buckley, Tarek Bishara, and Jeremy Northam.

Freud’s Last Session hits cinemas on 22nd December 2023.
