Maestro is a new film based on the life of Leonard Bernstein. Co-written and directed by Bradley Cooper (A Star Is Born), the film is produced by Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, and Todd Phillips, as well as Cooper. Spielberg was considering directing the film and had approached Cooper to star but offered the director position to Cooper after he watched A Star Is Born.
