The Breach – Watch the trailer for the new sci-fi horror
Lightbulb Film Distribution has sent over the poster and trailer for the new sci-fi horror, The Breach.
Counting down his last days as Chief of Police in the small town of Lone Crow, John Hawkins must investigate one final case when a mangled body washes up on the shores of the Porcupine River.
Based on the award-winning book by Nick Cutter, the Canadian feature is directed by Rodrigo Gudiño, founding editor of Rue Morgue. The soundtrack was written and performed by Slash (Guns N’ Roses), who is also Executive Producer on the film. The film stars Emily Alatalo, Allan Hawco, and Mary Antonini.
Fantasia Film Festival hosted the film’s world premiere in July, and the UK premiere took place at FrightFest the following month.
The Breach will be released On Demand and Download in the UK & Ireland from July 10th, and in Australia & New Zealand from July 12th.
“We are thrilled to be bringing The Breach to audiences in the UK, Ireland, Australia & New Zealand. The film perfectly blends Lovecraftian horror with menacing gore. We were blown away with the cinematography by Eric Oh and the soundtrack by Slash. Horror fans… if it’s not already on your watch list, it should be!” commented Sales & Acquisitions Director, Peter Thompson.
The Breach will be available to own or rent in the UK & Ireland from July 10 via Amazon, Sky Store, Virgin Media, AppleTV and Google Play. Also available on DVD.
