When exactly will the second season premiere?
Due to the show’s size, a second season will take some time to release. The first season took 10 months to shoot before those dragons were added. The work on the visual effects for Season 1 began in January, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Season 2 could return in the summer or fall of 2024 if it also requires nearly a year of filming and additional VFX work.
