Reservoir Dogs is getting a 4K release

Frenzied, soaked in blood, and featuring gangsters both ruthless and engaging (who debate the deeper meanings of “Like a Virgin”), Reservoir DogsQuentin Tarantino’s debut film about a heist gone horribly wrong — attained iconic cult status upon its release in 1992, and launched the career of a director whose singular vision has influenced a generation of filmmakers.

Four Perfect Killers. One Perfect Crime. Critically acclaimed for its raw power and breathtaking ferocity, it’s the brilliant American gangster movie classic from writer-director Quentin Tarantino. They were perfect strangers, assembled to pull off the perfect crime. Then their simple robbery explodes into a bloody ambush, and the ruthless killers realise one of them is a police informer. But which one?

Lionsgate is debuting the film for the first time on 4K Blu-ray. It will be available in two 4K Blu-ray versions: the SteelBook and the regular edition, which will both launch on 15th November.

Reservoir Dogs was directed by Tarantino from a screenplay he co-wrote with Roger Avary. The film stars Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Steve Buscemi, Harvey Keitel, Chris Penn, Edward Bunker, Kirk Baltz, Quentin Tarantino, and Lawrence Tierney.

Reservoir Dogs was executive produced by Richard H. Gladstein, Monte Hellman, and Ronna B. Wallace, with Lawrence Bender and Harvey Keitel as producers.
