Roger Moore was a man who knew the James Bond character better than any other. After all, no one had played the iconic character more times. His sixth outing as Bond saw him pursue a general who was stealing riches from the Soviet government. Along the way, he stumbled across Kamal Khan and his glamourous assistant Octopussy. Bond is left in the precarious position of having to beat Khan at backgammon to prevent a sophisticated plot to disarm Western Europe.
