Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness gets a new trailer that teases many things

A new trailer for Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness has been released and it looks incredible. It also teases many things.

Scarlet Witch, the What If..? Doctor Strange (unless it is another version), America Chavez and so much more. Did I also hear the voice of Patrick Stewart in there? Could he be back as Professor Xavier. A quick check on IMDb confirms he is. It could be a version of The Illuminati. That was a group on Marvel comics comprised of Xavier, Tony Stark, Reed Richards, Namor and Black Bolt. Is that fiery flying figure Tom Cruise as the Superior Iron Man character from the comics?

In Marvel Studios’ “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” the MCU unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before. Journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary.

The film is directed by Sam Raimi from a script written by Jade Halley Bartlett and Michael Waldron, and stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange, alongside Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Elizabeth Olsen, and Xochitl Gomez.

Exciting times are ahead with all kinds of Multiverse shenanigans on the horizon.

The film hits cinemas on 6th May 2022.
