Check out the new video about the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ Show

In August 2019 at D23 Expo, Lucasfilm announced the return of Ewan McGregor in the iconic role of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi for a special event series on Disney+. Officially titled Obi-Wan Kenobi, the series begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where he faced his greatest defeat, the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker turned evil Sith Lord Darth Vader. The series is directed by Deborah Chow, who helmed memorable episodes of The Mandalorian Season 1.

During DisneyPlusDay this video was released that features interviews with McGregor and Chow along with concept art for the show. It is looking very cool and hopefully we will see some footage from it soon.

Hayden Christensen is back as Darth Vader for Obi-Wan Kenobi and now we have some new casting news.

Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell
Benn
and Benny Safdie also star.

Joel Edgerton will be Uncle Owen and Bonnie Piesse is Aunt Beru.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is executive produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Deborah Chow, Ewan McGregor, and writer Joby Harold. Casting director is Carmen Cuba.

Obi-Wan Kenobi will be available exclusively on Disney+.
