Spider-Man: No Way Home gets a trailer

For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.

Director Jon Watts is back for the third Spider-Man, which is called Spider-Man: No Way Home, with Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers writing the script. Tom Holland, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei and Jacob Batalon are all reprising their roles from the first two Holland-led “Spider-Man” films.

Lots going on in that trailer. It gives us the setup of Spider-Man being unmasked from the last film and how it affects Peter and his family. Is that Charlie Cox back as Matt Murdock when Peter is being interviewed by the police? Then we find out why Doctor Strange is involved and the Multiverse blossoms. I love the end moments with that familiar cackle, followed by the wonderful “Hello Peter!”

It looks great and I am tempted to not watch any other trailers….but I know I will.

What did you think of the first trailer?

Jamie Foxx will be back to play Electro and Alfred Molina will return as Doctor Octopus. Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange will also appear. His next film, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, is directed by Sam Raimi who directed the original Spider-Man trilogy

Spider-Man: No Way Home hits cinemas on 17th December 2021.
