Jane By Charlotte – Watch the trailer for a new documentary from Charlotte Gainsbourg

A new trailer has been released for Charlotte Gainsbourg’s documentary Jane By Charlotte.

Charlotte Gainsbourg looks at her mother Jane Birkin in a way she never did, overcoming a sense of reserve. Using a camera lens, they expose themselves to each other, begin to step back, leaving space for a mother-daughter relationship.

The film will have its world premiere in the new Cannes Premiere sidebar at the Cannes Film Festival.

The production is produced by Nolita Cinema and Deadly Valentine. Paris-based Party Film Sales is handling international sales.
