Timothy Olyphant, Justin Cornwell and more join Tom Hardy in Gareth Evans’ Havoc
Gareth Evans directed the brilliant action thriller The Raid. He has signed a new deal with Netflix to produce and direct films. His last one for the studio was the excellent Apostle that starred Dan Stevens.
One of his first projects will be the action thriller Havoc which will star Tom Hardy and Forest Whitaker.
The story is set after a drug deal gone wrong, when a bruised detective must fight his way through a criminal underworld to rescue a politician’s estranged son, while unraveling a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that ensnares his entire city.
Deadline is reporting that they will be joined by Timothy Olyphant, Justin Cornwell, Jessie Mei Li, Yeo Yann Yann, Quelin Sepulveda, Luis Guzmán, Sunny Pang, and UFC mixed martial artist Michelle Waterson.
This is shaping up to be a great cast.
Hardy and Evans are both repped by Range Media Partners. Hardy is also repped by United Agents, and Sloane Offer. Evans is also repped by WME, Management 360 and Jackoway Austen Tyerman.
