The Obi-Wan Kenobi TV show gets Joel Edgerton, Kumail Nanjiani, Moses Ingram, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang and more
In August 2019 at D23 Expo, Lucasfilm announced the return of Ewan McGregor in the iconic role of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi for a special event series on Disney+. Officially titled Obi-Wan Kenobi, the series begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where he faced his greatest defeat, the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker turned evil Sith Lord Darth Vader. The series is directed by Deborah Chow, who helmed memorable episodes of The Mandalorian Season 1, and it begins shooting in April.
Hayden Christensen is back as Darth Vader for Obi-Wan Kenobi and now we have some new casting news.
Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie have all joined the cast as announced on Twitter.
Joel Edgerton will be Uncle Owen and Bonnie Piesse is Aunt Beru. Darth Talon is rumoured to be in the show and I wonder if Moses Ingram could be playing her.
Who do you think the others could be playing?
