Netflix announces new Original Film from Lupin director Louis Leterrier & star Omar Sy

Omar Sy and Laurent Lafitte are reprising their roles from the 2012 action-comedy On the Other Side of the Tracks in a new film for Netflix that has just begun production.

Ousmane Diakité (Omar Sy) and François Monge (Laurent Lafitte) are two cops with very different styles, backgrounds and careers. Many years ago they worked together but life took them apart. The unlikely pair is reunited once again for a new investigation that takes them all the way up to the French Alps. What seemed to be a simple drug deal turns out to be a high scale criminal case wrapped in danger and unexpected comedy.

This new project was born from the desire of Omar and Laurent to team up again on screen, 9 years after On the Other Side of the Tracks.

Production started on March 15th in Paris and Rhône-Alpes region (France).

The movie will be available on Netflix worldwide in 2022.
