David Fincher’s Mank gets a new poster

Netflix has sent over this excellent poster for David Fincher’s Mank.

Mank is a new biographical drama film about screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz and his battles with director Orson Welles over screenplay credit for 1941’s Citizen Kane.

1930s Hollywood is reevaluated through the eyes of scathing social critic and alcoholic screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz (Gary Oldman) as he races to finish the screenplay of Citizen Kane.

David Fincher directs the film, based on a script written by his father Jack, with Gary Oldman playing Herman J. Mankiewicz. Amanda Seyfried, Lily Collins, Arliss Howard, Tom Pelphrey, Tuppence Middleton, Tom Burke, and Charles Dance also star.

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross provided the score.

The film will be produced by Fincher, Ceán Chaffin, Douglas Urbanski and Eric Roth and distributed by Netflix.

In Select Cinemas November and on Netflix on December 4.
