Chadwick Boseman has died
Chadwick Boseman, star of Marvel’s Black Panther, has died of cancer aged 43.
He died at home in Los Angeles with his wife and family by his side. He had been diagnosed with colon cancer four years ago but had not made the information public.
The following statement was released on Twitter.
This is so incredibly sad and I am truly shocked by the news.
Boseman has been working away in various television roles but it was when he played Jackie Robinson in 2013’s 42 that he hit the big time. He also played James Brown in 2014’s Get on Up.
It was playing King T’Challa in Captain America: Civil War, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame that made him known around the world.
A true talent who has passed much too soon.
