The Princess Bride Adventure Book Game is inconceivable!

Ravensburger has announced a new game based on 1987’s The Princess Bride.

The Princess Bride Adventure Book Game is a co-operative that can be played either solo or with up to four players. It takes place on a fold-out board meant to replicate the William Goldman novel

Climb the Walls of Insanity, brave the Fire Swamp and battle the Shrieking Eels to keep the plot on course and tell all six chapters of the “game” amidst interruptions from a sick grandson and disruptions from villains Vizzini, Count Rugen and Prince Humperdinck.

Players work together to complete challenges by moving the colorful playing pieces (designed after all the heroes from the movie) and discarding the story cards in their hands.

The Princess Bride Adventure Book Game ($24.99) will be available at Target stores in the US starting on October 4th. There is currently no UK release date.
