Emmy Rossum is Angelyne in the trailer for new show about the LA billboard icon

Emmy Rossum (Shameless) stars as Angelyne in a new show debuting on Peacock, NBC’s new subscription-based streaming service.

An unauthorized limited series based on the Hollywood Reporter’s investigative article about Angelyne, L.A.’s mysterious billboard icon.

Rossum, who is also executive producer alongside her husband, Sam Esmail, stars opposite Martin Freeman as Angelyne’s L.A. manager/promoter.

Directed by Lucy Tcherniak (The End of the F–king World, Wanderlust), the show is out later this year.
