E.T. and Elliott are back together in a new commercial

This short film / advert features E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial and Henry Thomas (Elliott in the 1982 Steven Spielberg film).

While it is an ad, and it is easy be cynical about these things, it is very well done and Henry Thomas is amazing in it.

“The audience is going to get everything they want out of a sequel without the messy bits that could destroy the beauty of the original and the special place it has in people’s minds and hearts,” Thomas said.
