Zombie Cap, T’Challa as Star-Lord, Captain Britain and The Watcher! Take a first look at Marvel’s What If…? animated series

Disney+ has officially launched North America (enjoy The Mandalorian, we have to wait until March 2020 here in the UK). It did feature a show called Expanding the Universe that looks at the future of the MCU.

That included the first footage from Marvel’s What If…? This is an animated anthology show that, like the comic of the same name, takes moments from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and goes in a different direction.

There are 23 episodes and most of the MCU cast will return to voice their characters. The Watcher will introduce each episode and he will be voiced by Jeffrey Wright.

From the footage below you can see Peggy Carter as Captain Britain, Steve Rogers as Iron Man, T’Challa as Star-Lord, and Bucky going up against a zombie Captain America.
