NYCC 2019: Marvel’s Runaways Season 3 gets a new trailer

Dark days ahead for the Runaways.

The new season of Runaways is heading our way and the new trailer has just been released. Season 3 sees the kids meet up with Cloak and Dagger in a crossover episode, while Elizabeth Hurley tries to get Nico to turn to the dark side!

Talking to the cast at New York Comic Con, all of them said this season will be a lot darker than the previous 2. It also leans heavily into the magic and sci-fi aspects of the comic book with lots of action and big changes ahead. Gregg Sulkin (Chase Stein) said that this was the most ambitious season they have done so far and is quite different from what has gone before.

Show creators Stephanie Strange and Josh Schwartz and Executive Producer Jeph Loeb said they had been looking at which characters had not had a chance to interact much in previous episodes and that led to some great new interactions. They also said that it was “the Winter Soldier of Runaways!”

Marvel’s Runaways Season 3 arrives December 13, only on Hulu!
