Godzilla through the ages

Are you one of them who’s been waiting since 2014 to meet the scary, furious Godzilla again? Well, the wait is soon to be over, the new Godzilla: King of the Monsters will be released on May 31, 2019.

The 2014 “Godzilla” went further and offered a kind of greatest hits from the global disasters of the century. It started with a nuclear power plant collapse at Fukushima, then a holiday paradise is drenched by a massive wave like the tsunami in Thailand; and yes – a mandatory aircraft also plunges into a high-rise building.

2014’s “Godzilla” begins in Japan, where the American nuclear researcher Joe Brody (Bryan Cranston) just kisses his wife before she dies in the nuclear accident. Joe firmly claims that the earthquake was something else and not created by nature. But everyone thinks he’s crazy.

Fifteen years after the accident, the same thing happens again and Joe gets right about his suspicions. And that “something else” he was talking about showed to be a huge prehistoric creature.

The origin of Godzilla was initially an allegory of the nuclear power dangers. And it was atomic bomb explosions that brought the prehistoric animal to life. In their new screw, the researchers explain how the huge pests used to live on eating radioactivity, several thousand years ago.
