Jay Basu has been tapped to rewrite the screenplay for Battlestar Galactica, Universal Pictures’ reimagining of the 1978 television series created by Glen Larson. The Six Million Dollar Man is getting a new comic, which is launching next year from Dynamite Entertainment. The Man Who Killed Don Quixote
Terry Gilliam’s The Man Who Killed Don Quixote is finally getting a US release. Screen Media has picked up the North American rights to the film, starring Adam Driver, Jonathan Pryce, Stellan Skarsgard, Olga Kurylenko, and Jordi Molla. The company, in partnership with Fathom Events, is planning a national theatrical release for March 2019 – IndieWire
Blackout
Rami Malek will lend his voice to a new thriller podcast from Endeavor Audio. The Mr. Robot actor will star in and produce Blackout, an eight-episode suspense story about a small-town radio DJ who must fight to protect his family and community from a coordinated attack that destroys the power grid and upends modern civilization. Henry Thomas (E.T., The Haunting of Hill House) has joined the DC Universe live action Stargirl series in the recurring guest-star role of Golden Age Dr. Mid-Nite.
