True Detective Season 3 gets a full trailer
Touch darkness and darkness touches you back.
From creator/executive producer Nic Pizzolato comes this searing series of troubled cops and the investigations that drive them to the edge. Each season features a new cast and a new case.
Partner detectives investigate a macabre crime involving two missing children in the heart of the Ozarks, Arkansas. The story spans three decades.
I like how this has a feel of the original series.
Oscar winner Mahershala Ali stars as detective Wayne Hays, a state police detective from Northwest Arkansas. Stephen Dorff also stars as Arkansas State Investigator Roland West, while Carmen Ejogo plays school teacher Amelia Reardon, who is connected to the two missing children.
The various episodes are directed by Jeremy Saulnier, Daniel Sackheim, and Nic Pizzolatto.
True Detective Season 3 also stars Mamie Gummer, Scoot McNairy, Josh Hopkins, Jodi Balfour, Lonnie Chavis, Ray Fisher, Michael Greyeyes, Jon Tenney, Rhys Wakefield, Sarah Gadon, Emily Nelson, Brandon Flynn, and Michael Graziadei.
It begins in January 2019 on HBO.
