Burt Reynolds has passed away

Really sad news, but Burt Reynolds has died. He was 82 and a total legend. He reportedly died of cardiac arrest at a Florida hospital.. He had been suffering from heart problems for a number of years.

He did a whole lot of theatre work, but it was in television shows such as Gunsmoke and Dan August that saw his rise to fame.

He was in so many films – Deliverance, The Longest Yard, Smokey and the Bandit, Semi-Tough, Hooper, Smokey and the Bandit II, The Cannonball Run, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Boogie Nights and so many more.

In more recent years he guest starred in various shows, such as Archer, The X-Filmes, Burn Notice and more.

He had also recently been cast in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

He made his directing debut with 1976 action film Gator.

I will miss him and his laugh.

What was your favourite Burt Reynolds role?
