INDIANA JONES 5
– Jonathan Kasdan (Solo: A Star Wars Story) has signed on to replace David Koepp as the writer of Indiana Jones 5, multiple sources tell Collider. Representatives for Kasdan and Disney/Lucasfilm had no comment. Producer Frank Marshall did not respond to a request for comment, nor did Koepp or his representatives.
DOCTOR SLEEP
– Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation) is in negotiations to co-star with Ewan McGregor in Warner Bros.’ adaptation of the Stephen King novel Doctor Sleep, the sequel to horror classic The Shining. McGregor is on board to star as the adult version of Danny Torrance in the film. It is unknown who Ferguson will be playing – Variety

WATCHMEN
– Sleepy Hollow‘s Tom Mison is poised to return to the small screen via a starring role in HBO’s Damon Lindelof helmed Watchmen pilot. Additionally, Frances Fisher (Titanic) and Jacob Ming-Trent (White Famous) have boarded the project. HBO confirmed the trio’s casting, but declined to provide character descriptions – TVLine

FIRESTARTER
– Fatih Akin will direct Universal Pictures, Akiva Goldsman, and Blumhouse Productions’ adaptation of Stephen King’s classic sci-fi thriller novel Firestarter. Scott Teems will adapt the script.

MIDNIGHT’S CHILDREN
– Netflix announced that it will be adding to its library of original series with an adaptation of the acclaimed British Indian novel Midnight’s Children, which Netflix also announced will be available to stream globally across 190 countries. Written by Salman Rushdie, Midnight’s Children follows the life of Saleem Sinai, born on the stroke of midnight on August 15, 1947, the time of India’s independence. His every act is mirrored and magnified in events that sway the course of India’s national affairs, with his health and well-being inextricably bound to those of his nation, his life is inseparable, at times indistinguishable, from the history of his country, as well as his telepathic powers linking him with India’s other 1,000 “midnight’s children,” all born at the same time as him and gifted powers.

– Annapurna Pictures have announced that Missing Link, the fifth feature film from Academy Award-nominated LAIKA (Kubo and the Two Strings, The Boxtrolls, ParaNorman, and Coraline) will arrive in cinemas on April 19, 2019.
FALLOUT 76
– This new Fallout 76 video gives us a look at the all-new Construction and Assembly Mobile Platform (C.A.M.P.), which can be used to build and craft anywhere in the world.
COMEDY CENTRAL ROAST OF BRUCE WILLIS
– Comedy Central unveiled an all-star roster of Roasters who will join Roast Master Joseph Gordon-Levitt for the Comedy Central Roast of Bruce Willis. Those names include Willis co-stars from Moonlighting and Motherless Brooklyn, life-long friends and comedians all armed and ready to throw barbs. Confirmed Roasters include Nikki Glaser, Lil Rel Howery, Dom Irrera, Edward Norton, Kevin Pollak, Jeff Ross, and Cybill Shepherd. Additional Roasters and talent to be in attendance will be announced shortly. The event (#BruceWillisRoast) will tape at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on Saturday, July 14 and will premiere on Sunday, July 29 at 10:00 P.M. ET/PT on Comedy Central.
